"Im coming out of a long but wonderful season of pregnancies and postpartum. I use the ‘skin to skin’ bra to sleep and wear around the house. But after so many years of nursing, I need a bit more support and a tiny bit of padding to feel completely covered out of the house. 1. Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust while wearing an unpadded bra. Note this number.
2. Underbust/Band
Next, measure under your breasts, around your ribcage, then add 3 to this number. For example, if you measure a 31" ribcage, your band size is 34. If the number is an odd number, round up to the next even number.
3. Cup Size
Lastly, take your bust measurement minus your band measurement to determine your cup size using the chart below. For example, if your bust is 38" and your band measurement is 34", your bra size is a 34D.
